About Us

The Silver Taps have actively supported Seniors Week, having taken part in several seniors' concerts including Seniors Week at Rottnest in 2005 and 2006, plus the BBC Entertainment concerts for wheelchair-bound seniors.

They also appeared in the Perth Town Hall Seniors Christmas concerts. They have also performed in support of numerous
worthwhile causes including the Lord Mayor's Tsunami Relief Concert in 2005, and the North Metropolitan Health Service Ball.

They were also involved with the CWA South Pacific Area Conference at Burswood, and concerts for seniors in Northam. They also supported Anglicare and performed in several Knit-In events and the Amana Living residents' parties.

They were finalists in the Bankwest 'Search for a Senior Star' competition in 2004 held at the regal Theatre. Although they didn't win the competition, they gained recognition for their accomplishments, and a dedicated following of tap dance enthusiasts.
